Dr Chheda was born and raised in Rockford, Illinois. He attended college at Penn State University, before attending Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, PA., earning his MD in 1993. He then went on to complete a residency in Internal Medicine at the IU School of Medicine in 1996. He was a staff physician at IU Med Center in Indianapolis until this year as well as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine participating in med student and resident training from 1996 to 2008. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and a member of the American College of Physicians. The focus of his practice will include outpatient and hospital care of adult patients. Dr Chheda is married with 2 young children and enjoys spending time with his family in his spare time. Other interests include travel sports.
