Dr. Hemachandra earned her
undergraduate degree from National
College in Bangalore India in 1978.
She then chose to attend Bangalore
Medical College in India where she
earned her Medical Degree in 1984.
Dr. Hemachandra completed her
Residency in Pediatrics at Wayne
Oakland Child Adolescent Program in
Michigan. She completed her
Fellowship at The National Institute
of Health in Hematology/Oncology in
1997. She is board certified in
Pediatrics.
Her practice focus is also in
Pediatrics. Dr. Hemachandra’s
personal interests include
traveling, and reading. She is
married and has three children. Dr.
Hemachandra is located at Hancock
